I am so blessed I got this app, not only did I fall in love with the cutest boy ever, but I met my soulmate

Unlike the other guy they allow you to have multiple photos so u dont have to load things one at a time. Also unlike the other guy they allow u too scroll over areas so if your headed that way u can see who u might bump into and your not just stuck with a 5 mile radius of the same guys around u. Ez to navigate and more and more guys are joining so u get a lot of new guys daily.

This is the only gay chat app that gets it right. Nice UI, good UX. Works well on iPad. A+ on this front. Its awesome to see the commitment they have with the new features theyre bringing to the app. Very respectable. I would like to see a bit more polish though. For example the ability to swipe to go back so I dont have to tap the small back button when viewing a profile. Grindr does this nicely. Also better button positioning, Done should always be placed on the right. But overall a very solid and beautiful app.

The ads make it impossible to scroll

The app doesnt load anything unless youre connected to wifi. Very annoying

Profiles state folks are 16 miles, 32, or 7 miles away. Not true! There over 4K+ miles away. I constantly complain to this very problem to Hornet. All I ever receive are messages, thanking me for helping make their community safer. Today, 10/10/2016, Ive had 4 fake profiles contact me. Everyone said they were within 30 miles of my location when in reality they tell me they lived in TX, but are stationed in Kabul! Bull... I never have this issue with any other app I have on my iPhone or iPad. OkCupid, Recon, Scruff - no crap! Here is what I just sent Hornet from the latest yahoo. "Profile says hes 16 miles away, when hes really in TX. I looked up the number he gave me. 512-543-3060. This is the 4th jokester today. FIX THIS PROBLEM!!!!!".

All robots and scammers

Really the best location based app in my opinion. Can view guys an unlimited distance away, easy to navigate, unlimited unlocks, only thing lacking are more guys.

Tired of having all of your chats disappear? Being sucked into buying an even worse premium app that does little extra than allow you to block creepy people? Not being able to talk to anyone without a stupid ad popping up? Worry no longer!! Hornet is your horny six pack paradise. My favorite difference between Hornet and the impotent Grindr is that you can actually put more photos on your profile, WITHOUT annoying ads to buy their defunct product that they dont even check their reviews for. Albeit, theres still annoying marketing, but at least no more bots!! Thank god!! Although dont come on here expecting lifelong love and happiness. It could happen, but most people here are looking to have their eggplant emoji in your peach emoji, or vice versa. If youre looking for dating, try OKC.

They are all 15 or 20 miles away from me. Thats like an hour and a half drive in LA.

Awesomeness

Very few men, clunky interface. Can only write about NYC area experience but very few users here. Mostly people from overseas wanting to meet. There is a social feed that is not really sensible and its a distraction. Someone thought it would be great to add social network functionality to a Grindr model. Maybe it would be but Hornet simply buries everything in a nonsense feed.

any ap that auto renews every month without giving you the op-out of renewal is basicly a SCAMMMMM. you can only cancel the renewal within the last 24 hours or you get charged again. In the first place you get little for the subscription that is not on the free part, and then they try to cheat you into paying every month.

Beware of scammers on this app! A person portraying themselves as 18 or older roped me into a private conversation. They persuaded my to text them to exchange a personal pic. Like a dummy, I did. Didnt hear from them for a day or two. Later someone called saying they were this persons grandfather and that the person was actually 15. I could avoid being reported to the police if I went a bought a $350 Green Dot card and send it to them so they could have this persons phone disconnected. I realized by this point it was a scam as I researched it on the internet, but still very scary. Dont EVER text a number anyone gives you and DONT give out yours!

Unlike Grindr, where a majority of the people are real, for some reason this app is very popular amongst fakes, robots, and scammers. Nearly every conversation Ive had with someone has led to finding out theyre not real. Often they will tell me that theyre living in another country where its illegal to be gay and Ill be punished up to 14 years if I converse with them. Another tried to persuade me into getting another app if I "wanted to get serious." Finally, others simply said weird things like "You can make your dreams come true" at weird parts of the conversation, as if theyre a robot saying the wrong phrases at weird times. Its a waste of time. At least with Grindr the people you speak to are real, even if theyre awful.

This app has to many ads. You cant scroll through more than 2 or 3 profiles without a full page add popping up that you cannot skip past until it has played through. Its really annoying and the reason I deleted this app b4. The same reason Im deleting it now. And the pay version isnt worth what they charge!!!

I love this app, i met a couple of great friends on here, but recently i got suspended for no reason. I have been completely honest with everything on the app, but i still got suspended. I dont know how long it will last, hopefully not long, but i have been trying to reach the hornet team through email. Please un-suspend me

I will give it five stars if it five you the ability to erase a picture you just send or posted in the chat, same ability to erase a message. If HORNET those that it will be superior than Grindr and more people will join once they hear about it

Why is there not an easy way to contact support from the app? I have been contacted by a profile that claims to be 19 years old and hes actually 15.

This is an amazing way to connect with new people and a way to make new friends and to know who you are talking to. I love using it because I have the best ability to meet new people
